The Solomon R. Guggenheim offers a wide selection of modern and contemporary art, featuring artists from the 19th century through the present. The museum offers special exhibitions, lecture by artists and critics, film screenings, classes for both teens and adults, and daily gallery tours. Make your way up the grand spiral that rises towards the dome above and experience the Guggenheim’s exhibitions at your own pace.
General admission is $25 for adults, $18 for students or seniors (with student ID or age 65+), and free for members and children 12 and under.
The museum is located in a modernist building on 89th street and 5th avenue, a 30 min walk or 12 min car ride from The Lowell Hotel.

- Tuesday: 10am - 9pm
- Thursday: closed
- Saturday: 10am - 7:45pm
- Additionally, from June 20th through August 29th, the Guggenheim extends its hours to 9pm on Summer Tuesdays by offering special evening programs.
