The Chinese New Year 2020 also know as the Lunar New Year is celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2020 marking the transition from the Year of the Pig to the Year of the Rat.
From Friday, January 17 – Sunday, February 9, 2020, we will feature three Damman Frères tea blends to to compliment the Classic, Royal and Imperial Tea services. Select from Thé Noir Parfumé, a Chinese Ceylon Black Tea with fragrant notes of Orange, Caramel and Pineapple or the Lapsang Souchang, a classic smoked tea from China, dried over pine fires, or for a lighter taste and aromatic experience, the Mandarin Jasmine Tea which is a Chinese green tea enriched with Jasmine Flowers.
At time of reservation or during your Afternoon Tea experience, tell us you are celebrating the Lunar New Year and we will gift you a Box of Assorted Macarons. On Saturday, January 25, all guests may enjoy a glass of festive Bubbly Rose or a glass of Sparkling Töst, made of white tea, cranberry juice and ginger.
